The documentary film has become for me the way I have to understand the reality, to communicate with others and to express myself. I am convinced that through the documentary film is possible to open windows to different worlds, wonderful and quotidian at the same time.
I was born in Mexico City and I traveled to Spain to study a International Master in Documentary Film in 2006. Since then I fell in love with Barcelona, although no so long time ago, I decided to explore the mountains of Pyrenees and now, they have turned into my new refuge.
Currently I work directing and producing documentaries and videos. I also work as an editor and camera. Since 2008, in collaboration with partners from the audiovisual world, we have created the company Producciones Mariatxi, with which we carry out the production of documentaries, corporate videos, graphic design and editorial design.
And my last adventure is the launch of Produccions Pelegrines, a company that has its origins in an ancient way... but that's another story!
